So while I was held up for a few days with a pulled leg muscle last week, it gave me time to dive into this podcast I've been wanting to listen to about the 80s and 90s cassette culture scene.
I really want everyone who is into experimental, D.I.Y ethics, and underground music to take a listen to it. I'm not that far into it, only 10 episodes so far, but I'm hooked.
It has interviews with some of the artists, zine makers, and record labels etc.
You can find the podcast here, or probably on any podcast site you prefer. However the direct site offers interesting videos to accompany the episodes and other great stuff.
I also don't think you have to really enjoy experimental music to get something out of this either. If you have a love of DIY and self-promotion, and a love for any kind of music, as everyone involved in this podcast has a deep love for music, and the artistic expression, I think you will also get something out of it.
However, if you do enjoy cassette culture, and experimental music, I also recommend checking out Tabs Out Podcast, which is more or less like an online radio show for what I'm hearing so far. I've been discovering some great artists listening to this.

Happy listening!
