Hi everyone,
So I was watching a twitch stream by Ashens, where he showed a really crap Christmas animation which was done in 3D Choreographer, called Rapsittie Street Kids. Of course with the software, being available on Internet Archive, I had to make something with it.

So seeing it was a windows program, and being a linux user, I thought I would be able to run it in wine and load it up. Nope. Even setting the windows option to run on older versions. So I had to dig out an old laptop of mine from 10 years ago from the catacombs of my closet. I then was able to get the software going.
As some of you who see my animations, I do love using old art software and animation programs, especially the ones for kids as I find the limitations to actually help me be more creative with what I have before me, and most run smoothly, and it's a lot of fun.
However, using 3D Choreographer was not fun. It was so slow and confusing off the start. It's a bit different from other animators from the time, (early 2000s I believe) and I've used some from the mid-late 90s that ran faster.
For this few seconds of video I made, it took me almost 20 minutes to upload it.
The fish was meant to bite Santa on the ass when he bent over, and Santa jumps in the air, but it didn't work out as the frame for the fish went through a glitch and made it come down late. So I uploaded it and ran it in Kdenlive to add the slide whistle sound and the voice saying "Missed me fish. Ho Ho Ho" in an old online robotic voice generator that just fit the overall crapulance.
Enjoy Merry Fishmas. I know I didn't when I was making it.
