A happy Monday to everyone after the Christmas holidays. So it's Monday, which means that it's time for an album of the week.
This album just fell into my lap by accident. I was looking for an old band called The Users, which were a great UK post-punk band from the late 70s, and looking to see if anything was reissued on Bandcamp, but found The User, and it was a great find for experimental music using a nonmusical instrument. I love these kinds of artists who do stuff like this. There's another one I enjoyed which was by an artist named Natalia Beylis called Variations On A Sewing Machine.
However, The User has an album they made using an old dot matrix printer.
Well, now I mentioned both unique albums, let's make it two albums of the week.
Here's Symphony #1 For Dot Matrix Printers by The User
Also here's Natalia Beylis with Variations On A Sewing Machine.
Happy experimental listening everyone.
