Coffee Chat

 Good morning everyone.

Coffee cup cheers

I just thought to touch base with everyone today since the move to Blogger. I think I've settled in nicely, all left to do is get a proper shelf for my typewriters.

Nothing to do really with the site move. But I do have to get a proper shelf for them this weekend. However, I do like the blue rolling storage drawer, as I pick the typewriter I want to use, and put it on that, and I can roll it over to the side of my desk, and it's the perfect height and size to type on. However, the big Smith Corona XL 1900 is a bit big for doing that, but not too bad.

Brother Accord 12 is my favourite child.
Don't let the other's know.

Anyway, I am enjoying being here. Blogger was one of the very first things I used way, way back when I had a little blog going. My first big step into writing online. It was just some little thing that was a personal page where I posted poetry, and little comics, and copies of old zines I was working on. Not much different from now. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, or if it is still around.

So how is everyone enjoying it here? It's very nostalgic for me coming back. I also like how quick I can upload stuff now without having to code everything. It makes the creative process in my free-writing so much better. I like to type those out on the computer as I'm doing them, because I can catch my thoughts quicker, then type them out on the typewriter. It was sometimes hard for me to do on the other site as I had to think about HTML and markdown codes, that I just found it distracting at times.

Also, you can't beat the site stability of this place. I'm no person to praise Google, but they run a great little blogging platform.

So this all aside, I have a Christmas edition of our zine coming out on the 22nd. I also am going to get into learning more interactive animation stuff. The link to those located in the "Visual Junk Mail" section up the top there.

I also hope you like that I've separated the music aspect in its own thing called The Listening Centre, which you can access via the labels on the side there. I do have to tag the Computer Music Magazine tapes into that group.

Anyway, just wanted to check in this morning. I hope you all are great. Welcome back readers from the other site, and welcome some new people who may have found us. I started out making this thing really for myself to have a place to come into and post some cool music, and have some creative fun. Sort of a online place to store my crap, and document my creative journey. I'm glad others seem to enjoy it as much as I love making these. Someone riding shotgun always makes a journey more fun.

Have a wonderful Thursday, and talk to you soon.
