Same Old Stuff.
A Little Update
Good afternoon,
So I ended up pulling a thigh muscle two days ago, and it's finally now just starting to feel a little ok to walk on. The last couple of pieces of writing were not typed up and posted because my office room, where I have my typewriter and so on, is up a flight of stairs, and I've been living life as much as possible downstairs. However, I now am feeling semi normal walking, and was able to get upstairs. So the following is the last two poems typed out. They were short ones. Being in pain was not making me very creative at the time, also, I love typing things out on the typewriter, and the machine always makes me feel more creative. The undistracted nature of it, as well as the rhythm of the keys helps with a creative flow for me. However, even on the worse days, I push through it and create something. It's how I keep my sanity really.

Enjoy Far Away and Breathing in typewritten form, and may you never experience a pulled upper thigh muscle.

The Listening Centre: The Ginger Twins
So there was Record Store Day last weekend, and got two awesome CDs back in my collection in physical form after so long. Einsturzende Neubaten's Halber Mensch, and Dead Can Dance The Serpent's Egg.
However, they are not what this post is about, even though as amazing as they are, and I'm fans of both bands.
Yesterday I was looking for a song that I only remember a small bit of the music to.
Not finding what I was looking for in about an hour or so, I blew off some frustration in a discord group, I'm in, and someone posted another band, that I looked at on youtube, but it wasn't what I was looking for. It was not a loss. Upon looking at the other suggested song, I saw this band in the side with related videos.
The Ginger Twins song called Denigration, is everything I love in a song. Darkwave, moody and like something you hear in a dream. I instantly checked them out on their Bandcamp, and immediately bought Vacancy and Ephemeral. I hope to dig into their online presence more, and see if they have any physical copies available somewhere.
Happy listening!
